This website provides access to online filing services and information about taxes in Mississippi. The Tax Commission is responsible for collecting tax revenues exceeding $6 billion annually for the support of state and local governments.
Our responsibilities include enforcement of Mississippi's Prohibition and Local Option Law and operating as the wholesale distributor of alcoholic beverages. The Tax Commission is responsible for monitoring ad valorem assessments throughout the state to ensure consistent appraisal and valuation of properties among the municipalities and counties of the state.
It is our goal to efficiently and effectively perform these duties as required by law demonstrating courtesy to those we serve.
